Biltema Nordic Services is a service company within Biltema with various departments that together deliver a complete solution for the department stores' assortment and operations. The IT department in Helsingborg provides systems and digital solutions in collaboration with Biltema's other companies within the group for our Nordic markets.
You will be part of a team with 25 number of colleagues who, together with the entire IT department, develop, manage, and support both proprietary products and systems, as well as well-known systems from market-leading suppliers. Together with your colleagues, the mission is to develop, integrate, and automate Biltema's over 150 digital platforms and systems.

EXAMPLES OF WORK TASKS
- Act as the first point of contact for software application and system issues, resolving problems, answering queries, and providing essential guidance to our users.
- Keep a vigilant eye on application and system performance, analyzing functionality to identify any issues or defects. Collaborate and coordinate assignments with the IT team or vendors to resolve these issues promptly.
- Play a pivotal role in the maintenance of applications and systems, guaranteeing they align with both technical specifications and business goals.
- Create, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation, including procedures and manuals. Provide valuable training and support to end users, enhancing their understanding and use of our systems.
- Work closely with the IT team and vendors to drive enhancements, upgrades, patches, and fixes, ensuring our applications and systems remain cutting-edge.
- Own and were applicable identify process improvements to continuously work on service quality improvement.
EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least four years of hands-on experience in application support, troubleshooting software applications and systems.
- Strong command over Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, SQL databases, and web technologies.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Adept at working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, coordinate assignments, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Working hours: Standard office hours with the possibility for hybrid work.
