Junior Mechanical Engineer for a Green Tech Company!
We are currently recruiting a Mechanical Designer for one of our clients, an innovative green tech company specializing in sustainable energy solutions. This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization that is driving change in its industry.
About the Role
As a Mechanical Designer, you will work on both delivery and development projects, ensuring high-quality results and optimizing existing products. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, buyers, and production teams to meet deadlines, budgets, and specifications. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to support the development of next-generation products.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Delivery Projects: Working alongside project managers, production staff, and suppliers to deliver solutions that meet customer specifications, on time and within budget.
- Development Projects: Refining and improving products to meet internal standards as well as external legal and regulatory requirements. Tasks include creating production-ready prototypes, conducting tests, and supporting smooth project execution.
- Documentation: Producing technical descriptions, manuals, specifications, material lists, and other key documentation.
Who Are We Looking For?
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A background in electromechanical or mechanical design, such as experience with sheet metal products, switchgear, switch cabinets, or energy storage systems.
- Proficiency in CAD tools as Solid Works and the ability to transform ideas into production-ready documentation.
- Meritorious Experience: Experience with battery systems, maritime constructions, or electromechanical design is an advantage. An interest in developing future-proof systems is also highly valued.
