D365 Lead Developer - Lindab
Lindab is seeking an experienced and business-focused D365 Lead Developer to drive the quality assurance of our ERP program. In this key role, you will ensure a smooth implementation of Dynamics 365 F&O, aligning system development with Lindab’s business objectives both during and after rollout. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards for performance and security.
As the D365 Lead Developer, you will also manage necessary adjustments in the legacy AX 4.0 system on a part-time basis throughout the transition. You will lead development quality efforts, oversee customizations, extensions, and integrations, and act as the technical liaison with our Systems Integrator (SI) partner. This role involves hands-on development, rigorous testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure robust solutions that drive Lindab’s ERP goals forward.

Main responsibilities
- Support the rollout of Dynamics 365 F&O by conducting quality checks and verifying solutions.
- Collaborate with the external Systems Integrator (SI) partner to design, develop, and implement customized Dynamics 365 F&O solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Act as the technical lead between internal stakeholders and the SI partner to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Lead internal development efforts, including customizations, extensions, and integrations for Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Focus on quality-assuring code developed by external partners, ensuring it meets performance, security, and business requirements.
- Ensure quality and performance of developed solutions through rigorous testing and code reviews, overseeing security of both internally and externally developed code, including ISVs.
- Oversee the security of both internally and externally developed code, including ISVs.
- Provide technical development support within the internal team and troubleshoot any technical issues related to Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Stay updated on trends and advancements in Dynamics 365 and related technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in the post go-live phase to ensure ongoing system stability and performance.
Previous experience and competencies
- 4+ years of proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing Dynamics 365 solutions. With a focus on customizations, extensions, and integrations, along with experience working with both D365 and legacy versions such as AX 4.0.
- Experience leading or supporting ERP rollouts, particularly with a focus on quality assurance, system validation, and post-go-live support.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with external partners and internal stakeholders to align system development with business objectives.
- Familiarity with managing and maintaining legacy ERP systems during transitions, ensuring seamless integration and continuity.
- Hands-on experience resolving technical issues and optimizing system performance in complex system environments.

- Able to navigate both legacy and modern systems, balancing the needs of ongoing development with the transition to Dynamics 365.
- Fluent in English, both orally and in writing. Swedish is a plus.
