Main Responsibilities
- Perform simulation and dynamic performance studies on FACTS plants to verify performance in the connected grid
- Model and analyze power systems, including windfarms and Synchronous Condenser Machines, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with project specifications
- Prepare detailed technical reports and analyses, and present findings to customers
- Collaborate closely with project managers, R&D teams, and global engineering departments to deliver high-quality technical solutions
- Participate in tender processes, including cost estimation, coordination with sales teams, and interpretation of customer specifications
- Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the global FACTS engineering community
Qualifications
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum five years of experience in power systems analysis
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a multicultural environment
- Experience with tools such as RTDS, PSCAD, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MATLAB, EMTP-RV, and Python
It’s a plus if you have
- Knowledge in windfarm modeling, STATCOM applications, or Synchronous Condenser Machines
- Previous experience working on tenders or customer specification reviews.
- Additional language skills, such as Swedish

- Type of employment: You will work as a consultant for 12 months before having the opportunity to transfer to employment with our customer
